Youth Team
Our Children Youth Team works to support families with early childhood development, children’s health, education, social and emotional wellbeing, culture and belonging.
Child Health Worker
Connects families to health services and facilitates group activities, such as:
- Children's First Aid
- Cultural Connection
- Hearing Screening
- Learn to Swim
- Mums and Bubs
- Playgroup
Child Health Nurse
Undertakes Children's Development Checks and provides parenting advice, such as:
- Breastfeeding
- Child Immunisation
- Immunisation checks
- Nutrition
- Toilet training
Family Support Worker
Provides culturally safe and non-judgemental support and advocacy for at risk families, with the goal to:
- Collaborate with families to assess and implement case plans that meet their needs
- Link families to support and services
- Help families to navigate the Department of Children and Youth Services
- Promote wellbeing and social inclusion
Aboriginal Education Support Worker
Delivers educational support services by engaging Aboriginal children, youth, and their parents/guardians to:
- Improve youth wellbeing
- Increase school participation, retention and success, and to
- Support parents/guardians to engage with their children’s education
- Collaborate with schools in our region to embed Aboriginal knowledges

Mums & Bub’s Group
Mums with children aged 0 - 4
Connect with other Mums, have a yarn and cuppa while bubs have a play in a safe environment.

Our school holiday program focuses on the wellbeing of our young people and their families, by connecting themto their culture and each
