Welcome to the Tasmanian Aboriginal Redress Support Services.

We understand that surviving institutional child sexual abuse is extremely difficult. That’s why we provide respectful, trauma-informed support in a safe space for Aboriginal people to complete their applications for the National Redress Scheme and navigate the entire process.

Our Aboriginal Redress Support Workers offer free, non-judgmental, and highly confidential assistance for your journey with the Scheme. Please note that the closing date for applications is June 30, 2027, and the process can take up to 12 months.

Additionally, we can connect you with knowmore for free legal advice, financial counseling, and other valuable community services.

There is no shame in reaching out for help. You deserve to be heard and supported!
